How Can Acupuncture Help You?

Acupuncture can be used to treat many different physical conditions including the following:

Back pain

A very common problem in everyday life. Whether in an office sat at a desk all day, in a warehouse lifting heavy boxes or due to pregnancy and childbirth. It is estimated that 1 in 5 people will visit their GP each year because of backpain. Some causes of specific back pain include: sciatica – a condition caused by a nerve in the back (the sciatic nerve) being irritated or compressed, slipped disc – where one of the discs of the spine splits and the gel inside leaks out & ankylosing spondylitis – a condition where the joints at the base of the spine become inflamed.

Such problems can be treated by acupuncture and we see people on a daily basis for the above problems in both our Southend clinics. It has also been reported by the Daily mirror that researchers have found all types of acupuncture "performed better than Western remedies including drugs". IVF & Infertility

Tension-type headaches, cluster headaches & Migraines

Many people suffer from some form of headache or migraine, Tension-type headaches - felt as a constant ache that affects both sides of the head affects over 40% of the UK population at any one time.
